Evening guys and girls!

I’m after some help recently cancelled sky approx 2 months ago and I returned the old sky boxes. I’ve missed place me return receipt and now they want to charge me £235+Vat for not returning them!

I’ve been through the process of begging them but unless I can provide a tracking number they won’t budge. Any ideas?

Does anyone have a Royal Mail tracking number which just confirms delivery on an item? Possible from sept/October/November would be fine. Any help or suggestions would be great fuming as I have actually returned them but lost my receipt.

I’ve got a tracking number you could use but it shows the post office where I dropped parcel off at, and if it’s nowhere near you, might raise suspicion, I’m in North East

I’m in Lincoln 🤔. Tricky one I’m not sure what else I could do tbh.

I’m sure once I give them a tracking number they will want a picture of the receipt aswel 🤔.

You cannot use a tracking number belonging to another consignment.

They will cross-check It, hence It must show the correct consignor & consignee details.

Unfortunately I’ve already been to the local PO and they don’t have copies. Looks like I’m going to have to cough up the money. Disappointed really you think sky would waiver this considering I’m a platinum customer of 16 years.

I’ll just pay up and leave we have a new FTTP company locally which I want to try anyway upto 1000mb/s which is amazing for us being rural.

Given It was sent as a tracked consignment, surely they must have some type of record. I've yet to come across a PO that doesn't.

Give them the sender & receiver details, the date of shipment and see what they have on their system.

It's pathetic to say the least.

It clearly demonstrates that they couldn't care less about their valued customers.
