Morning Coders !!

First programming language that i've learned is C++ thats very basic , i just learned hello word until array,matrix , and sometimes following tutorial like how to make snake games, and then i tried to learned Visual Basic , i think its more easy , but i learned still basic like following tutorial how to make keylogger. and now i think the future platform is android , it free and most of people use this so many . So i feel interested to learn Java , and now i still following tutorial ho to create zigzag games .

I want ask its okay i learn programming language like this ? , or i must be a master in C++ first , and then learn other language ? . I'm still confused about that .

Please recommend me the best way to learn some programming language ^^

Pick a language. Stick with it until you've mastered all the core programming concepts such as


Variables
Constants
Conditionals
Arrays
Loops
Functions/Methods
Paradigms (OOP, Functional, Procedural, etc) and all that involves (eg classes, objects, methods for OOP)

Follow tutorials, and practice these concepts in whatever language you choose. it can be java, python, c++, C# - whatever. Just pick one and stick to it.

Once you are familiar with one language and all the core programming concepts, you can move on to other languages.

Yeahh thats my problem !! , I think so ! . Sometimes when i write a program , i'm confused the detail function of the codes/syntax . So I just knew the function for general

OP: Try going to https://www.codecademy.com/ and choosing a language there. They even have Java. They give you a pretty thorough walk-through of what you need to know, then it's just a matter of practicing.

That's why you shouldn't follow tutorials before actually learning the language. Also, whatever you do, don't pick Java as your first language.

Personally I started with Python first because I found it the easiest because of the way it reads, funnily enough now I find arduino C easier than Python.
