I download some files and videos from a turret side but they are zip file and locked with password.. When i try to unzip them it ask for password.I tried a lot but cant break its password. If anybody know how to crack Zip password and share it , it will be great help. Thanks.[/color]

1- wrong section
2- try the domain name eg myillegalwarez.com
3- otherwise the name of the uploader
4- there are plenty of zip crackers out there, just google it.

Bruteforce is about the only attack you can use against the the files, there is no 'backdoor'.

EDIT: of course common sense passwords like the domain name, uploader name or something along those lines. Try googling the name of the zip/rar +password and see if its posted somewhere.

if the rar password contains more then 10 characters there is a hard chance of getting the password it could take YEARS to get the password with brute forcing. The more characters the harder it is to get the password. I remember tried hundreds of methods to take down password from rar but none of them actually worked even with using Brute Force.

you can also try the uploader if he is mentioned or things like password or the name or programm function

You can use bruteforce, but for this you need wordlist. If you have huge wordlist, for example 100 billion words in wordlist, i think you must crack this.

Bruteforce attacks don't require wordlists. Dictionary attacks do.
