I ordered AirPods Pro 2 from Apple. Now which kind of EB has the highest success rate?
1) I received only the external box and the AirPods package was missing
2) I received the external box and the AirPods package without the actual AirPods inside
3) I received everything but the buds were missing from the case

It's idiotic to ask for a PR when you claim EB, yet it's just a scare tactic to make some social engineers quit the chase.
There's no reason for not filing a PR, should you deem the SE worth it.

Their brain-dead reps fail to comprehend why a PR Is not warranted under the circumstances, but the claim will not move forward until It's filed.

Yeah, that’s what I said to the support. If the box was closed there’s no point asking for a police report, but they insisted so I replied to email saying that I had no time to go to the police to fill a report and that I was already loosing my time trying to get a refund because of their fault. So they said that I could fill the PR online but in my country the site for online PR is currently offline so I called again and the guy said that I was right and the PR made no sense and told it to the sales department and said that now I should hopefully get my refund in 5 working days. I’ll keep you posted

I sincerely wish you succesfully circumvented their stupid PR request and get your refund asap! It would be a great display of how perseverance can turn the tables.
