Sry but i do not see any need of this thread. Nobody will learn anything of see how the you print "Hello World" in 7 differnet languages.

No, you will not learn anything from a language by just make it print out "hello world". You will either not get a clear understanding on how the programming language is build up. So my point is, no one will get any closer on which language they should choose, because they will not get a clear idea of how the language is build up by seeing the different ways of printing "hello world".

I agree.

If anything, it shows the simplicity of the language in a basic form, but that's about it.

C is probably the most useful, but Python is easy.

I would say you should at least learn the basics of python because it will make it 10 times easier to learn other languages. After that, you should decide which kind of application/program you cant to make. When you have a goal, it will be easier for us to decide/help you in the right direction.
