Hello, Sinister.ly ! I am sort of a new member I have joined about a month ago.
I have been lurking around the website reading on what the community has posted recently
and so far it is pretty cool. Thanks for the casual browsing of my free time.
( BTW Primitive is a baller IDK why he/she... most likely he just is.)
Also what Linux distro do you guys prefer Mint or Ubuntu? Downloaded Kali and not really interested in penetration testing,
Thanks!

Welcome to Sinister.ly! Go ahead and read the rules located here. What do you like to do by the way, obvious not pentesting?

I hope to see you a little more active in the future!

Even though he posed it as a debate, I think he was just asking so he can stop using Kali ASAP and switch either to Mint or Ubuntu. Could be wrong though.

EDIT: Then again, just noticed the poll

Maybe, but its better for the site if we don't clutter the intros with unrelated stuff, especially since it doesn't add to your post count.

Sorry about that, yeah Zorrophreak caught my drift I was wondering what is the better distro between the two should have read the rules for that.

Cool, send me a PM and I'll add you on Steam later. I love photography, although mine typically leans towards urban exploration. Nice, never actually gone to a real class for anything IT and the like, probably why I haven't gotten too far. Pretty cool though!

Agree.

And the thing Is, you can't move It to the Operating Systems forum because this contains both Intro & OS content, hence It'll defeat the purpose. Anyhow, welcome to Sinisterly G_G.

Thanks for the warm welcomes everyone!  BTW someone actually voted on the poll sorry guys/gals,
just looking for some input from others that have knowledge of the topic and was eager to post without reading the rules.
Thanks, Everyone!

Moving to Operating Systems.

Ubuntu = babbies first Linux. However, Ubuntu is based on Debian and Mint is based on Ubuntu.
Debian > Others > Ubuntu > Mint.

Welcome to Sinister.ly,

If you have any questions feel free to shoot me a PM.

There are so many linux' you can try and you should have to try them to see if you like it. It's also a bit of personal preference.
