I've actually heard of this but I think it's just a mind trick tbh. Like you will be better which makes you believe you will be better.

Not necessarily. I've seen it work on people I've used this method on without them knowing about my workings until after they have revealed their 'miraculous' healing.

I guess I would believe it if I saw it but I had people tell me it hasn't worked for them which makes me a stronger believer of the mind.

Realistically all magick is is the art of bringing the power of the mind into the physical realm in a way that can not only be of benefit/detriment to the self, but also to the benefit/detriment of others. I have about 200 pages in my magickal journal full of successful spells and workings. Once you begin it can be kind of tough to get things to happen due to the inability to rest the mind after the spell has been cast (or to forget about it), especially with energy manipulation over other methods such as sigilization or candle magick. This is why it's highly recommended to keep a magickal journal with dates, times, and methodologies, and follow up with the results. It grants peace of mind, especially once you have a metric fuck ton of entries into said journal. :^)
