Has anyone here been homeless? 12-27-2013, 08:21 AM

I am wondering if anyone here has ever been homeless before? I know anyone can be homeless at anytime in their life which is sad, have you ever faced homelessness and how did you get through it?

I have actually been homeless and it is actually quite hard but once you get the chance to rebuild it slowly becomes stable again.

Someone that loses their home and most likely has nowhere to go, some homeless people sleep outside and ask for change from people for food or whatever, although there are shelters specifically for homeless people you can only be there for a certain amount of time and shelters can be dangerous. here is a picture of a homeless person to get a idea

No, I've never been homeless, but I've heard stories about it.
Its really hard on a person I've heard.

Fortunately, I have never been homeless. When I started working, I really made sure that one of my first few investments would be a house. At least, I know, whatever happens, I will not end up sleeping on the streets.
I do have a very close aunt who became homeless after their house had been badly hit by a typhoon. It was a real struggle for them during the first few months, when they had to temporarily live with relatives. Although their relatives are very nice and accommodating, living in another place is still very much different from living in your own house. They had too much difficulty at that time.
Fortunately, they had enough savings which allowed them to recover only after a few months. They were able to rebuild their home.
