Has anyone ever gone Powered Paragliding? #1
Powered Paragliding. Imagine running off a cliff with a parachute and flying into the distance...but running forward with an engine and a propeller on your back to take off from flat terrain.

This is actually a thing. Devices range anywhere from 2500USD to 10000USD (probably more but those are the extremes I've seen.) Its in the reach of regular people and from the looks, it is incredibly fun.

This is just a sample of what its like. This, coupled with the fact that options for takeoff and landing are near limitless...I'm going to get into this.

Do any of you do PPG? Or even regular paragliding?

Never heard of something like this. Sounds a bit outrageous but looks like a good time. I mean, the price is a bit steep but when your strapping a jet engine on a paraglider it makes a bit of sense. I havn't ever tried paragliding though I might check out sky diving.

So all of the sky diving places near me have some kinda age requirement, however every PPG trainer I've ever met doesn't require anything. I'm probably gonna try it out sometime, and maybe get a setup for myself if I enjoy it and can come up with the funds.
