Hardware Problem

I have this problem with my hp 2000 laptop which always goes off anytime i insert my hard disk drive but would turn on anytime when i take the hard disk off.
Due to this, i can no longer use my laptop.
I need help please.

I'd suspect an issue with the hard drive and try swapping it with a known-good unit and see what happens.

Give that a shot and let us know what happens.

I did try changing the hard drive but the problem still persist.

What do you mean with Hard disk drive? An internal where the system is installed or an external one via USB?
Is the operating system installed on the HDD you're taking off or not? Did you try connection another drive and see what happens?
