They normally have 2,200 calls a night?! That's crazy.
Dallas is a big city.
Wikipedia states:
Quote:According to the 2010 United States Census, the city had a population of 1,197,816. The United States Census Bureau's estimate for the city's population increased to 1,300,092 as of July 1, 2015.According to my calculations... at 2,200 911 calls a night, in 1 year there are 803,000 911 calls (2,200*365). In other words, over 60% of the Dallas population dials 911 once a year.
And as you may have noticed from the original post, the number 2,200 is just for 8 hours in the night!
Maybe that sounds reasonable, idk.
