* Was the signature legible?
* What's the Item?
* How much does It weigh? (Be precise).

We're you thinking along the lines he could box them, or wrong item received?

It depends on the outcome of the questions asked.

signature was a scribble but the delivery man wrote our surname himself
there was two items, a jumper and a belt
weight was 0.8Kg

Every driver enters the name- It's part of company procedure.

Given the signature was not legible, you can still use the DNA method. Anyone could've scribbled a signature, even the driver himself.

I'll give it a try and let you know how it goes, cheers.
