RE: HELP: Apple.com/de SE for 2 MacBooks #39

However, it is unlikely that they would do so unless they had a valid reason and followed proper legal procedures. It is a common practice for companies like DHL to track devices as part of their investigations. The way you described the situation makes it seem like the DHL workers are being aggressive and trying to intimidate you.

EDIT: they don't even know you actually ordered macbook, possibly don't even know what that is meaning they don't have any serials at all.

I also think they just want to intimidate me, probably a basic strategy to wash out the weak liars.

What makes me doubt and question the sense/benefit of all this is, that the MacBooks might be useless, even if I succeed with the SE. That's why I seriously consider calling apple and telling them my sister accepted them, didn't tell me because we had an argument some weeks ago (which is true) and somehow the boxes got mixed up by cleaning the house and getting ready for christmas. I could say I finally found them in our basement untouched and want to return them.

What do you think is my chance of apple accepting the return?

UPDATE: The driver called me again, basically giving me a last chance to "find" the boxes.

He told me he printed/requested some papers from DHL stating that it was delivered to my house and there's my name on it. I asked him what my name is and he barely pronounced it right. I then said this is only my last name, it's written on my bell and mailbox outside, what does this prove?

He said it's my name and the location is the right one etc.

I asked him to show me the papers. He sent it over via whatsapp and there's even a misspelling in my last name. I told him it's weird and doesn't prove that I received the delivery. I paid for it and I should receive it.

He again told me that he thinks my wife accepted the delivery. He said he definitely saw me for the first time yesterday but he thinks my wife was the one who accepted the delivery, as he feels like he saw her before. I definitely know that my wife and I were not at home at the time of the delivery, that's for sure.

I told him that my wife can't be the one who took it, also she opened the door for him yesterday and saw him etc. I asked him if he thinks my wife is lying to me and not being honest. I told him that one of the Macbooks is a christmas gift for my wife so why should she lie to me?

He said he is not saying that she's lying but maybe she mixed it up or something. He will go to file a police report tomorrow and that's why he wants to tell me to look for the boxes and ask my wife etc. because if I call him today and tell him I found it he won't go to the police.

I told him I will ask her again and also my dad and look for the boxes. I asked him how they look like and what color they have etc. and told him if I find them I let him know.

Guys, obviously it' also well played from him and somehow intimidating, also very much building up pressure with the use of a deadline and giving me the urge to "find" it quickly.

Guys I need your help and input. If I would be sure that apple would accept the return of the macbooks I would defnitely send them back now. But I don't want them to refuse because they are counting from the day they delivered them and not from the day I RECEIVED them.
