HELP: Apple.com/de SE for 2 MacBooks 12-21-2022, 07:05 PM
#1
Hey fellow SE‘ers,
I just got scammed by someone in this forum called „DHL“. On telegram he named himself exodus & exodus.media. He deleted his acc and probably is swapping through different accs.
Now I have two MacBooks at home, not opened, delivered yesterday. I ordered them directly at Apple.
Is there any chance of a successful refund?

Just refund it yourself, you will never get experience if you are paying someone else to do it.
Don't do something you're if you yourself aren't even going to try it.

Just risk it. Yolo, you either win and get two free macbooks, or you lose and get two macbooks. Not really a loss here.

I‘m not sure which method, which angle, what the risk is - because I am not experienced. Of course I would learn more and become better at this if I tried out more but I don‘t want to make a dumb mistake or choose the wrong method. That‘s why I ask.
I bought the items as a guest. So hopefully my apple id etc. is not at risk here. But still I wonder which method has a good success rate when DNA is no option for 2 MacBooks or just one.
They were delivered in 2 separate parcels. So PEB is no option I guess.
I wonder what happens if I go for EB and tell
them there‘s no MacBook inside the MacBook Box or that there‘s no MacBook Box inside the parcel. Not sure if they blacklist or trace them…
Your best bet would be to DNA it.
