What this thread is about
Spoiler:
This thread is going to be focusing on the game Left for Dead 2 (LFD2), ways to improve the game, and videos to guide you through the campaign. Now this thread is not 100% and will take some time for it to be completed, but this way you can play along with the thread.
About Left for Dead 2
Spoiler:
Left for Dead 2 (LFD2) is a zombie apocalypse game which focuses on four characters named Ellis, Rochelle, Nick, and Coach who must fight through different campaigns that include 3-5 levels. Your main objective is to fight to reach each safe zone and in some levels you have secondary objectives such as getting gas and more. Now along your journey to each safe zone you encounter numerous types of zombies which will be talked about later in this thread.
Things to know
Spoiler:
If you never played the game you should know that the main characters never change, unless you purchase a add-on campaign that states other wise. Also know I will use the term LFD2 to abbreviate the game. Lastly remember this thread will not be 100% do to me recording the let's play every day.
Gameplay
Spoiler:
The game presents five new campaigns, each composed of three to five smaller maps. In the first maps of any campaign, the Survivors attempt to reach a safehouse, while the final stage requires the Survivors to call for rescue and either survive a prolonged onslaught until rescue arrives, pass through an especially challenging gauntlet of Infected to reach a rescue vehicle, or (in Dead Center and The Passing) collect and utilize fuel cans to enable their escape.[9][10]
Each Survivor can carry up to one of each five categories of equipment. The main weapons are broken down into four tiers based on their availability and attributes.[11] Tier one weapons (such as the SMG and Chrome Shotgun) have a low ratio of damage for time and serve as your basic offensive weapon. Tier two weapons (such as the Assault Rifle and Combat Shotgun) carry a higher amount of damage per time unit and often appear in later maps of each chapter. The two tier three weapons (Grenade Launcher and M60) differ from one and two in the fact that they cannot refill their ammunition from ammunition dumps and generally there is only one or two at most of each per map. They carry a high damage ratio at the cost of limited ammo. Tier four weapons are all mounted weapon systems and carry unlimited ammunition. The mounted weapons carry the highest damage ratio but with constant use, glow white hot, overheat and stop working for a period of time. The mounted weapons are in set positions in maps and have a fixed arc of fire. They cannot be given ammunition pack upgrades to the bullets or utilize the laser sights attachment. Either a melee weapon or pistols are used as secondary weapons. Although melee weapons cause extra damage to Infected when struck, the Survivors can use any other weapon or item for weaker melee attacks that can push the Infected back. Players also carry a flashlight with infinite battery life and makes it possible to see in the dark, (with the downside of getting the attention of the Infected much faster). They may also carry a single first aid kit, special ammo pack, or a defibrillator; in addition to either pain pills or adrenaline shot. They may also carry a single throwable weapon—Molotov cocktails to set an area on fire; pipe bombs to attract any nearby Infected to the flashing light and sound it makes until it explodes;[12] and Boomer bile, which attracts Common Infected to whatever it hits (e.g. fires, Special Infected, each other).[13]
To enable situational awareness of other Survivors, players are shown the health and status of their fellow survivors. If a player does not have direct sight of another Survivor (e.g. a wall is blocking their view of the others), they will be shown the Survivor's highlighted silhouette. As Survivors take damage, they move slower; if a Survivor's health drops to zero, they become incapacitated and are left to fight off the Infected using a handgun until rescued by another Survivor. If a Survivor dies, they remain dead until the next level, unless revived by a defibrillator, or, in Campaign or Singleplayer mode, reappear in a "Rescue Closet" to be freed by other Survivors.[14] Should all Survivors die or get incapacitated, the game ends, and players must restart that chapter.

10 Tips to Improve Your Game
Spoiler:
1. Always choose a pistol over a melee weapon. Reason being is they never run out of ammo and you can kill from a farther distance. Not to mention if you go down you fill have a pistol to shoot instead of having nothing.
2. Don't look at the scenery unless you want to die. The best plan for completing the missions effectively and fast is to spring through them and take little time with doing anything in game. You will survive and get farther fast.
3. Play with a friend (Unless your doing easy mode). LFD2 is a co-op game for a reason, they want you to play with friends and work together. Your overall experience will be better and you will have a easier more enjoyable time playing.
4. Avoid the Witch at all costs. I said this before and I will say it again, the Witch is not a bitch to mess with. She will completely destroy your health and end your life. No gun is effective with her, they all work the same unless your on easy.
5. Try not to be the leader. When playing LFD2 the leader is always the person to get attacked by the special infected such as boomers, hunters, smokers, and so forth. Try to stay in the middle unless your playing alone as you will have to go first.
6. Avoid any pump action or bolt action guns. They are low on damage, accuracy, and likability because there crap. Go for full autos, semi autos, and pretty much anything else.
7. The pipe bomb is your friend. When deciding whether you should get the boomer bile or a pipe bomb, always choose the pipe bomb. It gets you out of situations and is very effective when killing the infected.
8. Avoid shooting any cars with alarms. Now the game will tell you which have alarms and what ones don't, however in your mind you want to shoot them so you can have extra kills. Don't do it as it can result in loss of the map or a member of the crew.
9. If it looks like your to high, you probably are. A big reason for deaths in LFD2 is pure stupidity when trying to jump off a building. Your are not superman nor batman, you can't fly and you sure as hell will die.
10. Be a team player. All though the computer is a idiot of a player, you need to help them out as they are key to survival and winning the level. You scratch there back they will scratch yours.
