Gtx 1070ti Evga Gpu Seing

Hi. So i will be seing evga claiming my 1070ti is damaged. There is this thing called cross shipping where they send you the replacement first and then you are supposed to return the item. Ill be seing them exploiting that. Ill be using a prepaid gift card which has no written name on it plus a fake id. I also thought of using an abandoned house for shipping addres but thats just too much of a hassle. My question is what would happen if i gave my real address. For all they know im outside of US, no real name, no credit card... Also if there is any flaw you see in this method please do let me know.

Can't you use those postal boxes where you go and pick up the order? Some local malls have them

I'm sure you have a post office In and around your area that provides PO Boxes.

Use that as a point of delivery.

Hey, i did pretty much the same as you did but evga cross shipping option asks me for collateral payment.
Here is what it says for me.

Quote:EVGA also offers a cross-shipping service. The Advanced RMA does require you to place a collateral payment covering the full cost of your replacement through PayPal. The cost of the collateral is determined by EVGA EU. Once the collateral payment is received, EVGA EU will ship your replacement product to you first. Once you receive the product, you can then send the original product back to EVGA EU.

Once your RMA is closed successfully, your collateral will be refunded in full.

how did you deal with this or did they not ask for it?

This is an AR I would strongly advise not to use a PO Box due to billing.

A PO box without any Identifiable Information.

I won't go Into detail on how this Is done, but It's quite simple.
