Great resource to learn about social engineering 06-17-2020, 02:57 AM

https://patchsecurity.com/social-engineering
I just found this and would
highly recommend it to anybody interested in learning about Social Engineering. If you're already experienced, there might not be much new information. It goes over all the common acronyms, methods, and what qualities and steps a skilled social engineer does. It's pretty in-depth and overall a really great primer to get your feet wet.
It also has info on how to defend against social engineers on a personal level (goes over common scams and what to look out for so you don't get scammed) and business level (It's good to learn about the other side too

but honestly it's mostly irrelevant as well unless you're trying to learn about physically social engineering).
(Once it reaches "TRAINING, AWARENESS, SKILL SET, KNOW-HOW," it becomes a lot less about social engineering as is related to these forums - ie getting free stuff)
edit: I see this was actually made by @
mothered . I had a feeling lol.

Yes, It's my website (not a blog) that's solely my very own work- without any plagiarism whatsoever.
My "social engineering blog" that was recently created, Is even more detailed.

It's very high quality and well written. Kudos to you.
I've discovered your blog right after discovering patchsecurity and have been enjoying sifting through it.
For some reason, I had always thought crack.tools was your only blog - I was really surprised to find you have so many! All of them have great content as well. Keep up the great work

Thank you for your kind words. I'm glad you've enjoyed reading Its content.
In terms of my blog, are you referring to "social engineering?". If so, I have 2 domains- one of which Is a mirror. I've also just created an anonymity blog, which I'm really looking forward to writing tutorials relating to "everything" about privacy & anonymity. I'm making a start on this today.

Correct. I noticed the resemblance of the social engineering blog to the patchsecurity article and figured they were the same author. Then I noticed in the social engineering blog it was made by you haha.

Ooh, I'm excited to read what you got! Honestly, you're doing amazing work! I'm sure lots of people really enjoy your content! It amazes me just how much I've been learning from you recently. Even beyond social engineering, I've been learning all sorts of things from the work you've done that I've happened to stumble upon. I'm hoping to read through the other articles in patchsecurity as well. I'm sure they're all written with the same standards of quality and I'll be able to learn plenty. Many thanks for spreading your vast knowledge.

Out of curiosity, why do you not advertise your blogs more? I'm sure most members will be happy to read what you've written, but most do not know about the different blogs you have running. I had to do some google-fu to find them.
