Got my driver's license! (kind of)

After putting it off for the last 3 months, I took my exam for my G1 (Canadian thing; I need to drive with someone who's fully licensed and there's a bunch of other restrictions) and aced it. If my record from racing games means anything, though, I'm totally fucked Tongue

How long do you have to drive around with a fully licensed dude until you can drive on your own?

A year, 8 months if I take MTO-approved lessons. Then if I pass my exit test, I get my G2, which is more or less a full license (with a few restrictions, but I can drive on my own) with the Ministry of Transportation watching me like a hawk for a year to make sure I don't fuck up. Then after the final test, I'm fully licensed.

Canada's Licensing provision names sound really cool. So I guess G1 is essentially what the US has for their "Learner's" Provisional License (which I have also put off for almost half a year.) Might go get my soon as well, otherwise I'm fucked as you are in your racing game ability (although the handling in most games sucks.)

And here I am with 3 DIFFERENT licenses that are all suspended...
