Going to SE GPU and need some advice. #1
I am going to SE a GPU from amazon and am trying to decide the best option. I have two accounts in very good standing with alot of purchases. I was thinking about doing the dna or the sent wrong item (don't know the abbreviation). The dna may not work due to the weight but I am not sure based on amazon doing all their own deliveries how that works. When it comes to the wrong item sent, say I do paper to one address and the gpu to another both in the same city and I send them the paper back in place of the gpu can they tell that the paper was shipped already to an address in the same city? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Why should dna not work because of it's weight? A gpu isn't that heavy

For WIR you need to order something to another address using completely different information so it isn't attached to you

Check If an OTP will be required on delivery.

Quote:The dna may not work due to the weight
The weight Is Irrelevant.

You're purely claiming nonreceipt of goods, hence It doesn't matter how heavy It Is.

Simply say you've received an Incorrect Item to what was originally ordered. The next course of action will be based on their reply.

I suggest you fully familiarize yourself with the WIR method prior to moving forward. Check out the articles on my blog on how It's done.

Hey Motherboard, I did read some of your guides on the different methods tho I am still studying them I wanted to get some good advice before I ordered anything as i'm still new to all this. Say if I order the GPU and it arrives with no OTP and they just leave it at the doorstep. What method would be the most reliable if it's shipped and sold by amazon? Does amazon delivering their own items factor into these methods because they do for me almost every time?
Thank you for those guides, they are amazing!

I may have been mistaking the wrong missing item method and the dna method.

Perfect to DNA It.

It's actually less of a hassle when sold and shipped by Amazon.

Alright everything is looking pretty good to move forward soon. There was a small issue that amazon requires a signature over $500 but I cant call an audible if that becomes a problem upon delivery and switch to the WIR method. I'm sure you get asked this a lot but if I do the WIR do I have to make the return box with the decoy item the same weight as the GPU box? eg: The GPU was 4.5lbs including the brown amazon box, does the decoy box have to be 4.5lbs as well or do only the items weight need to be the same without the brown amazon box such as GPU=4lbs and Paper=4lbs? The reason I ask is because if the weight including the brown amazon box has to be the same can't I just put some extra packing material in to compensate for a small weight discrepancy? Appreciate the help.

You use the brown box it comes in
Swap out the item and send it back

No Issue whatsoever.

In short, the entire packaging of the wrong Item must be equal (or very close) to the weight of the original Item.

Based on what I've been able to find it seems like amazon has security cameras in their warehouses. Would the WIR method be a no go? From what I read it's to keep track of employees but do they use them to verify errors like WIR? I apologize if I am asking to many questions i just want to learn as much as I possibly can to increase my odds.

If they did, the WIR would not continue to succeed to date.

Where did you read/hear about their CCTV?
