Should I just go ahead and open a Paypal claim? I don't want the courier knocking on my door.

Looks fine. I would say for you to remove that transcript from the net. Specially when it has your order number. Just in case

Contact them again in 2-3 days, because they say they will get back to you. They will probably tell you to wait another 2 days. Wait 2 days, contact them again, if they don’t refund you, then open a case on PayPal.

A week is more than enough time for a company to investigate something.
