Gaming PC delivered Open. SE possible? #1
Hello,

I tried to DNA a desktop from Currys. The plan was not to let DPD take a picture of the inside of my house but I messed up and a housemate opened the door for them.

BUT - the package was delivered open and it can be seen in DPD's photo.

Any options here?

With the weight of your item, I think the most suitable approach would be to use the missing item approach and state the packaging was damaged which will be evident on the photo the courier took.

Can I still DNA it if DPD's picture includes a bit of my hallway? The same DPD courier has delivered to this house before and the photo matches previous photos

Would this not just result in them asking me to return it?

You can't return something you don't have.

I'm unable to access this link, could you send it as an image attachment via private message?

I'd definitely go with the missing item method and claim that the package was damaged, the photo the courier has taken will help your case as it shows that the package has been tampered with and doesn't show that the item is actually inside the packaging.

Ok. How would I do that. The package would have been weighed by the courier. I could take components out I suppose?
