Galaxy S8

What are your thoughts on the new Galaxy? The finger scanner is in a horrid spot lmao.

It's quite an attractive phone but It's just too big for my liking. I like phones that are compact, and not those that resemble a tablet (so to speak).

If It were a 4.3 Inch display, I'd have no room for complaint. Now this Is based on appearance (from what I view online). Physical experience with functionality and stability remains to be seen.

It is kind of large and turns me off it alot, but knowing me I'll probably still get this as I'm digger for Android phones, galaxies specifically.

I don't use finger print scanners anyways. Wouldn't be much of a problem for me.

Other than a new GPU. For £700 I'd expect a little more innovation.

I like the screen and the overall design is nice.

The fingerprint scanner placement is dumb though, and the battery isn't the greatist for the screen size.

First off, nice phone. I like how big it is, and I love how the screen looks like it is basically falling off the edges when looking at the face.
I have had an iPhone for as long as I have had a phone since the iPhone 4. I love android because it is pretty easy to root it. Android lets you customize WAY much more than Apple does, and that is why I like android a bit more. I feel like Apple just locks down their shit too much, whats there to even be scared of? You guys got the fucking NSA, FBI, etc... hidden somewhere in the phone or something? lol
All together, nice phone.

I personally don't like the screen (I prefer the pixels honestly. Just personal preference), and the fingerprint reader.
Everything else, the headphone jack, micro SD card slot. Great additions
I also like how the onscreen buttons look.

I don't like it's assistant. Google assistant comes with the phone

Have you done any research?

Well I've shown what I did for research, I take no serious interest in the mobile market. A light GPU and CPU upgrade and moving a finger print sensor around doesn't seem too ground breaking. If anything it just looks like they're trying to hit their yearly release schedule. It would appear that the phone market is becoming stagnant from a hardware perspective.

Since you appear to disagree with the idea it isn't changing much and also since you seem to suggest that you have researched it what has changed, what is new and worth spending £700 on?
