It just came out like yesterday, so are you guys getting it? I bought my graphics from EVGA, and they have a step up program so all I have to do is pay like 50$ and I send in my GTX 780 and I get sent a GTX 780 Ti! I am hoping it will be a tank like reviewers say, but if the following performance charts are correct, it is pretty much the best graphics card on the planet:

I have 2 7850s in my computer right now and from this chart, it looks like I need an upgrade. Fortunately, I'll be able to afford it by Christmas. However, I might just build a new computer next summer.

You really do need an upgrade ._.

Battlefield 4 requires you to have 2GB+ VRAM, and a GTX 650 Ti only has 1GB. You probably won't be playing newer games unless you upgrade. GTX 780 Ti is a bit over the top for this gen though! :3

All new video cards are supposed to be over the top to prepare for the next generation of games. Helps with sales and upgrade fees. Think about it.

Good point, but it will be a while before a GTX 780 Ti starts studdering in games. This card will be top selling on the market for quite a while, as it is already beating the GTX Titan, and it is a fair bit cheaper. Now something like a GTX 770 is a high end card, but it isn't over the top. The GTX 780 Ti is just to stronk.

I bought the card when it was 690$, then the price dropped like crazy, so I sent them a copy of my invoice as proof, so now I actually only have to pay an extra 30$ and they send me an upgrade, though I do have to return my GTX 780 non Ti.

Though if you don't want to go overboard on an upgrade, the GTX 780 (Non Ti) dropped from 690$ to 540$ on NewEgg after the GTX 780 Ti was announced. I only run that at the moment on a 750 Watt Corsair Power Supply.
