So instead of just directly SEing the exact GPU you want, you go to all this trouble to get an OEM version of the GPU/CPU?

Why?

Yes I am fully aware of the quality of the parts in OEMs, I currently dont know how to properly SE pc parts
The forum is going downhill.

I have many SEs I would like to share with other contributors. Unfortunately, that is a very small percentage of the overall community, and getting smaller by the day. I have no incentive to contribute publicly and reward the undeserving. If you feel the same and would like to discuss privately, please reach out.

Kk.

For GPU, here's a few that have worked. DNA obviously, works almost everywhere. SB in-store, wouldn't try it in Germany or Italy. SB online, works for local retailers and smaller shops. WIR on Amazon (my fav). Then there's dry-ice return boxing or FTID, which are a bit of a hassle.

I haven't done a CPU in a while, but here's a few ideas in addition to the obvious DNA, MEB, FTID - Fish out the cpu from a sealed box, replace with a broken one if there's a plastic window up front. Or just box them ie send a broken box back.

Me personally, I don't recommend FTID, and a lot of these methods won't work for your location. But they're still more effective and less hassle than dealing with some prebuilt garbage.
