GPU DNA/Swap method #1
I've been thinking about using the dna method to get a hold of a new gpu. Does anyone have experience with this in the uk? I've read around and it seems that Amazon is the best place to hit.

I was also wondering if potentially putting my old gpu inside the box and sending it back as a normal return could help as I would like to go from AMD to AMD and all the reference gpus look very similar so was wondering if this would be the better option.

If anyone has any tips or methods I'd much appreciate it!

Amazon UK tends to check swaps pretty meticulously, from experience. Unless you're going model-for-model, I don't think it'll work. They're also starting to implement OTPs on purchases just barely over 200, which is annoying. My recommendation would be buying a faulty GPU that doesn't work off ebay, then swapping that in, so when Amazon checks it, it's the right model, and you might skate by on them not looking at the seriel.

Amazon Is rather meticulous with checking returns, hence It's likely they'll Identify the Incorrect Item.

Would the dna method work better then? I know it's getting harder and harder with this stuff but my local amazon delivery man usually just leaves the packages at my door knocks once and leaves.

They will check it mate...unless you are swaping for a same model, don't do it.
I don't believe in what I say because everything I say is a big fictional and false joke!

In that case, It's Ideal to DNA It.

Is It the same driver who services your deliveries?

I don't really know what you mean by services? You mean signs it off?

Also what's the chances they want a PR? It would be expensive but I have never reported anything as DNA etc and I've bought plenty of expensive things before, would this help with the refund?

A very good chance.

The DNA triggers a PR a lot more often than not.

Yes.

Your purchases give the account credibility, which speaks for Itself.

Yeah I think the driver is the one who delivers and some new guy was hired and he's even worse at his job. Would the PR have any weight to it if the item is around 1k in value? I don't want to drag some random Amazon delivery man into it.

Its kind of hard to tell whether or not drivers are either financially responsible or will face trouble at their job for "losing" the package. You have to accept the SE with the outcome that it might get your neighborhood deliveryman in hot water.
