GOAT Shoes SE #1
I'm planning on buying shoes from GOAT.com but I'm not sure how to do the SE, I can either order the shoes and request a return, then have someone box them or use the DNA method. I just wanted to know which method you guys thought would be best and if you have any tips. Additionally, has anyone ever SEd them?

DNA pretty much always works, @mothered knows more than I do about that though.

RE: GOAT Shoes SE #3
Although they're somewhat too big to box (It's still achievable), the shoes will register a noticeable weight on consignment, so the weight must be matched with a substitute during transit - such as dry Ice.

As @"Lucas1543" mentioned above, the DNA will work. In fact, because It's more so carrier-based, the method Is appropriate for just about any company.

I will be trying the DNA method. However, when using the DNA method usually the company files a claim with the shipping carrier. If there are many claims filed in the same address won't that raise suspicion? What would be a way to avoid that?

The more claims you perform against the same account, particularly In close timing, will raise suspicion to some degree.

In terms of the claim with the carrier, that's standard procedure/protocol. As such, It may lead to an Investigation, but by no means Is It an Indicator of a failed SE. In fact, a lot of Investigations do result In a successful outcome.

I understand what you mean. However, I don't think I worded myself correctly, I wanted to ask if it would raise suspicion with the carrier directly when there are many claims filed for the same address?

RE: SE GOAT shoes help #7
I’m new to SEing and I’m trying to SE GOAT for shoes so I’m thinking DNA but while reading their return policy they said something along the lines of

“If your package did not arrive, we may have you sign an affidavit” they did not say this exactly but they did say I might have to sign an affidavit which I’m not sure what it means exactly but I know it’s something all SEers want to avoid.

What are your recommended methods?

In future, rather than grave digging threads, I kindly suggest creating one of your own.
