Recently I realised that the ftid method is becoming a lot more popular and a lot of more people are using it .how long do you think it will be until the method dies out and won’t be an effective method

It's dead before It had the opportunity to begin- flawed and Inconsistent In a lot of areas.

Sure, members use the method but Its failure rate outweighs Its chance of success. The author can't even get the title right- "Fake Tracking ID". Since when Is the "tracking ID" fake? It's the shipment/package that's manipulated and fictitious, and not Its respective tracking.

Nobody can really answer. The thing with FTID is that it's actually patch-able, unlike other methods. As soon as companies start to catch on and start implementing measures against it really.

Simply put, It has a significant chance of failing which In my view, Is not worth the time and effort.

Agreed. In the long term can screw up the SE process for replacements - every company will eventually put in timeframe for when they expect the product to arrive at their warehouse and open it up to a bill.

We have this procedure already In place at work, whereby I liaise with the carrier through their online tracking console, thus the ETA on the package Is accurate within a few minutes or so. As such, I'm aware of precisely what arrives on a daily basis, and from whom.
