Hi i', curious if I can do this with just my cc? I'm also confused about the process of using two text+ numbers also must I use a different payment method to do this again? Is it only valid for one ride up to 500$? Please reply ASAP it's urgent thanks!

Another way to think of the method (keeping this here for clarity):
1) Create a fake text+ account with fresh email. This will receive the new GC.
2) Create another fake text+ account.
3) Login to Uber account, change the number to the 2nd fake text+ account.
4) Gift the code to the first fake text+ account.
Make sure you are on a VPN on both app and desktop entire time.

If you're good with dialogue - You'll tell the financial institutionthat the second number isn't yours and you don't know who's it is - Your account has been compromised is the result. From there, you'll tell them that you didn't order the gift cards, but little do they know - they've already been redeemed. You just got $500 Uber ride and a refund on what was spent from your account.

Please make sure you use a VPN and fresh proton-like emails.

I PM'd you. I'd just purchase them on Paypal - Probably use a VPN and use the "I didn't make this purchase." They'll ask you to change your password and then refund you. It's worked 100% of the time for me.

I just saw your response.  I had already started the dispute process and told them the code did not work.  My luck, Uber has responded on the second day.  Now it says Paypal is reviewing.  I'm not sure if they'll ask for proof or what.  Any chance of winning at this point?  This is for $100.

Well, Uber won the dispute . I went ahead and filed unauthorized charge since I figure I've got nothing to lose.

I'm new to the forums. I hope to share my knowledge with you and soak up some from you as well.
Let's start off with an interesting SE method. This one requires some capital, but you will be getting that back.

Make sure to use VPN while doing this and always use fresh e-mails.
(Perhaps protonmail or something similar)

Uber GC Method – Greyhat

First of all, create an Uber/Lyft account and add your CC/PayPal.

Purchase as many gift codes/GC's as you can (The max is 5 x $100 per
account) and send them to your email. (preferably new one)

Now, you're going to call your financial institution/Paypal/whatever and tell them
to issue you an refund for your recent payment to Uber/Lyft (5 x $100),
tell them codes didn't work or you don't want to use Uber/Lyft anymore.

They will issue you a refund, but they will not remove the balance
on those codes that you got in your e-mail. Before calling your
financial institution/Paypal, make sure the GC's have been delivered to your e-mail and
that you've already redeemed them.
