First time SE after 4 years #1
So this is my first time performing social engineering after 4 years so I don't know how the scene has changed, however yesterday I decided to SE a Logitech G PRO X Superlight from Logitech, and to my surprise, it was easier than I thought.
My mouse is going to arrive in a few days and I was thinking of double dipping since the mouse itself is known for being extremely lightweight (63g), how would I go about this?

You would perform an EB. How did you perform the first SE of the mouse?

I already own a Logitech superlight mouse that I use daily so I told them that the cursor randomly stops working and I was having charging issues. they made me do some troubleshooting, He then requested proof of purchase, which was pretty easy since I purchased it from amazon and have an invoice for it. he then told me this 'I request you to kindly provide a video showing the serial number directly on the device (the serial number is an Alphanumeric character ending with "8"), with a handwritten ticket number (9978204) and current Date on a piece of paper. The video must show the complete product and issue of the device.' which I was able to do lastly, he asked for a video of the mouse cursor suddenly stopping when using, which was extremely easy to fake. after all this, a replacement was given.

May I ask when you say perform an eb, is this telling them that when I opened the box all the contents were intact except the mouse?

I just went on live chat with Logitech, told them my mouse was having cursor issues (randomly stop working etc) went through troubleshooting, gave them all of what they asked of me (serial numbers, video of the cursor issue), and they approved of a replacement. I was surprised they did not ask me to destroy or ship my current mouse back to them.

Congrats.

Seldom do they approve claims without acquiring the return, and In particular a POD. Thanks for sharing your experience.
