I get all of my serials from ebay but cant find any serials as they are normally located behind the earcup. Anyone know how I can consistently get serials for products like these?

Convince the seller that you will be making the purchase, but first require the serial number to make sure It's not a stolen Item.

Reassure him/her that when everything checks out, the transaction will be finalized.

In my experience, facebook marketplace is great for finding serial numbers and the users are generally easy to SE when it comes to obtaining the serials. Also be sure to check the "sold listings" on eBay- you can do this with the product filtering.
Also, it may be worth social engineering a serial number on eBay- make a throwaway account and message people selling the headphones. Come up with a reason for them to give you the serial, for example checking that they aren't stolen.

Also, it's worth mentioning that Bose will give you a new pair of headphones if you request a repair on the warranty, then FTID them instead. It has worked consistently for the past few months. Only the headphones though, other products won't work- also worth mentioning that I've only seen this work in England and Germany.

Best of luck.
