What is the ARPANET?

It was the first packet switching network, which basically formed the foundation for the Internet that we use today.

The only reason I know what this is is because of a research project lol. School is useful to say the least.

Good to read you have some knowledge of this.

The majority of users I mention It to, are completely unaware. It was a very long time ago, so It's understandable. Even I have difficulty In remembering It's exactness.

I'm very Interested If you did In fact experience "Windows 3.1". If so, I'd love to read your thoughts.

I've posted quite a bit on that, but no one has come across It.

mine was a weird one i still dont know what the OS was called ...it had that black screen and u wrote those commands to go left or right up down thingy and draw lines or something 1995ish or b4r i think ...

In the mid 80s, I owned an IBM XT 286 which was similar to what you're describing.

It was over 30 years ago, so I don't remember the specs etc.

Given the era you've mentioned, did you actually use Windows 3.1?

You'd probably have to pay to get rid of It.

Seriously though, to a collector, I'd say It may fetch a decent amount.
