First Amazon OFM Email #1
Hello,

I received this email earlier today, after SEing for years.  It’s my first one and honestly, my life is much better off now than it was when I first started, so I’m wondering if I cease all SE activity if this will likely be where it ends with Amazon?  From what I’ve read here, it seems like they will likely just monitor my account for returns and lock it if it seems suspicious, right?

Hello,

We are writing to inform you that we reviewed your account and noticed that you have requested refunds for many returns from your account that have not arrived in their original condition. Items are considered as not returned in their original condition when they are damaged, have obvious signs of use, have missing parts, or when they are not cased in the packaging they came in. We know that occasional problems with orders are expected in the normal course of business. However, the number of refunds for items received in a damaged condition in your account exceed the expectation.

Under the Amazon Conditions of Use, we reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts and terminate your rights to use Amazon Services. To review our policies, go to "Conditions of Use":

What can I do?
Ensure that you comply with Amazon’s Conditions of Use.

Also, return the items in its original condition within the return window.

My friend got one and chilled for a bit (like 6 months) while continuing regular orders and was able to resume some law-stakes stuff. If you just want to keep buying from Amazon, you should be alright, just be careful about how many items you legitimately return. If you want to keep SEing, you should consider building up a new account while this one is on ice. Your mileage may vary.

This definitely made me just want to drop in on together, as my life has changed quite significantly since I started doing it, and it became more of a fun habit than anything else whereas when I started, it was more out of necessity. I’ve been reading on here and it’s nice to see that this is pretty much as far as it goes with them if you heed to their warning.

Don't let it deter you, I've previously received an OFM email similar to this and I simply explained the reasons I had previously returned items and they apologised and unblocked my account. This was during executing a successful £2500 SE and I've done another SE of £500 recently.

Just don't always use the same methods, switch it up often and don't be greedy else your account will get blocked.

Have you actually performed a high volume of refunds/returns to warrant the OFM?

It was sent a few days after an email regarding real items being swapped with counterfeits.

In that case, the OFM Is justified.

Your account Is walking on egg shells, so I wouldn't bother using It any longer. You are aware that they're expecting the correct Items be returned?

Do you know what may happen if u don't return 'correct' items to Amazon? Do they try to chase you for that?

It was three items where the grand total would hover around 2300 for all three. The company messaged me and said “we noticed you’ve been returning fake items stop buying from us” and then a few days later I got the OFM email. This is something that’s been going on for some time, but this is the first time that anybody has ever noticed. And I’m totally not interested in doing anything like this anymore because this has me pretty nervous.

I think if it were a very large number they would. I read a thing about a guy in the UK who would do something similar with electric guitars and they took him to court for some thing in the area of $300,000. I’m thinking since mine is less than $5000 that Amazon may compensate them write it off as a loss and then just banned my account because it’s going to cost everybody involved more to get a lawyer then it would be to just do that
