We all work for one reason alone- "Income".

Why would anyone seek employment, when they're guaranteed a paycheck each month?

The experiment saw 2,000 people paid €560 (£490) a month, instead of their unemployment benefit

I'm at a loss as to why this was trialed.

I wonder if it was trialed to prove a point.

Possibly, perhaps to set an example for others.
