Just a quick question if i was to try again using the serial they have sent me would they know it was an SE?

Every refund and return Is kept on file, and the reason why the claim was approved.

They'd have the serial on record, but whether they'd check, Is a different story.

Couldn’t imagine someone over the age of 60 would have to patience and tolerance to go through most of these hoops just to get fairly expensive item they purchased replaced.

Hold the phone steady and take pictures/video while keeping a piece of paper and the serial number in focus to show the SN and paper clearly.

Or Dump the unit in water + show diagnostic failing etc.

You could imagine how indignit a non-digital native would get. Channel it.

You won't come up with anything conclusive.

What I'm saying Is, there are no hard and fast rules on how they process claims. They have general protocols to follow, but each claim Is based on It's merit. For Instance (and so to speak), In a good mood as a result of a pay rise, they'll check the serial. 20 minutes until the working day ends on a Friday, they won't.
