Favourite joke projects #1
Going through my stars on Github, I've realized that most of them are absurd and not intended to be practical, so I thought I'd share a few of my favorites.

qntm/base65536 - Unicode's answer to Base64
NARKOZ/hacker-scripts (my all-time favorite) - Based on a true story
reinderien/mimic - [ab]using Unicode to create tragedy

It's a bit of a niche market, but do you guys have anything similar saved?
It's often the outcasts, the iconoclasts ... those who have the least to lose because they
don't have much in the first place, who feel the new currents and ride them the farthest.

This one is amazing:
https://github.com/xoreaxeaxeax/movfuscator

Everyone likes brainfuck... Right? Anyone? Am I alone here?
https://github.com/EvanHahn/brainfuck-web-app
https://github.com/cookjj/Brainfuck-on-Rails (Not completely sure what this is supposed to do, but it's huge)

Of course the best joke project is Windows Ubuntu emacs JavaScript PHP C++ the whole x86 architecture... You know what, forget it, I'm not starting a war with anyone today.
Spoiler:
Oops, this is gonna start a war...

Yeah, you definitely started overstepping your safe boundaries there at the end. All I needed to see was a crossed out Java and I would have flipped. Tongue

I almost did, but then I thought of other terrible things instead.

Popularity breeds criticism and hatred. See Lebron James and Tom Brady.

Yes I just compared a programming language to professional athletes.

I remember a program called Suicide Linux. It parsed any mistyped command into rm -rf /.

I've played around with it a few times to see how long I can last. Best I've managed is about an hour.
