I recently failed a Social Engineering (Original LG Watch) attempt, and was wondering. Has anyone gotten in trouble for doing an SE and it not working, especially if I used a photographed CSN#?
Not new to SE, but never had a rep so confused and suspicious either.

The worst can happen is they won't process a RMA request for you. So you don't need to worry. The rep can't do shit. So you are all good. You are a customer and you have to act like one. You have to be confident and if a rep gives you bullshit, you can get him or her fired easily.

Lay low for a bit or just move on and try other companies. I bet there is one Smart watch company that will be willing to give an easy replacement by just some convincing and PoP. One I can think of is Pebble Watch. They have cross ship and AR options making them fairly easy to SE.
