FTID for International Returns #1
Say you've had a product delivered from the UK to Poland, would it raise an issue with stores if you were to process a return from within the UK (using a boxer, for example), as opposed to doing it from the country to which the the parcel was first sent?

I don't see why there should be an Issue.

For Instance, If you're on vacation, It doesn't stop you from sending the package from a destination that's different to where It was originally delivered. It doesn't change the fact that It belongs to you, Irrespective of where It's sent back from.

RE: FTID for International Returns #3
I have some questions about the FTID. Perhaps @mothered, @xerophily, @" durden666" or other skilled SEr can clarify this matter.

1) Why do they suggest to remove the Tracking id (generally near to its barcode) from the label? Even removing it, it can be immediately retrieval by scanning the barcode with the proper app, just a matter of a few of seconds.
2) Why do they suggest you remove ALL the identifiable data? Wouldn't be better to maybe remove some of them and/or alter them? Perhaps inverting some letters with others. Removing all the identifiable data may make the worker more suspicious about the package.

Thank you.

This Is one of many reasons why the so-called FTID Is flawed.

Carriers work on a scanning system, hence the consignor & consignee details will be Immediately recorded with each scan. I think the author of the method, believes we're still living In the 60s.

It makes no difference what's removed and/or altered.

As said above, the moment the package, envelope or otherwise Is scanned, the sender & receiver Is Identified. The only way a modified shipping label will work, Is If the carrier driver has lost touch with reality and purely bases the delivery on the Information written on the label.

He means exactly what you mentioned.

Don't remove anything, instead just spoof i.e alter and change numbers and names, etc.

If they compare the Tracking-id captured by the qr with the one written on the label (sometimes happens) I would be screwed.

lmao then don't do it.

At the end of the day anything you are "social engineering" is illegal. Its still fraud. Whether it be on a very small scale or the opposite.

Perfectly describes the art of company manipulation and exploitation.
