My PC just crashed and burned yesterday and I had to replace my internal power supply, now, my external hard-drive does not work. It's powered separate from the PC itself, but now the computer doesn't--nor does my laptop--recognize it.

Any thoughts on this? I have a 1 tb WD My Book Essential. It still gets power and spins as if it has powered up, but does little to nothing else. Attempted a different cable as well.
