So I have an interesting idea:

Describe your favorite genre of metal to someone who is not familiar with metal whatsoever.

Mine would have to be Glam Metal & Heavy Metal.

It was released In 1986 and 30 years later, It's still remembered.

Heavy/Power metal. Anything from Iron Maiden and Judas Priest to Disturbed to Ghost to Iced Earth (who sound a lot like HammerFall, I just realized).

I love melodic death, symphonic, and metalcore.

Love the genre's so far. Maybe try to explain them with words rather than videos? I thought that would be more entertaining.

Death Metal:
Loud, heavy bass and drums coupled with low-pitched growling and screaming. Generally makes your soul feel heavy and darker somehow.
