Hotmail for only needing an email once somewhere. It would be Gmail, but you are required to enter in your mobile phone number so that they can send you a verification code. They stop accepting a mobile phone number if it has been registered an inordinate quantity of times.

It's perfectly fine here.

I usually create an array of email accounts, specifically dedicated to SEing. As mentioned above, a Microsoft account (Outlook, Hotmail) Is the way to go.

Do you do it by hand or is it automated?

All done manually.

Microsoft deletes Inactive accounts due to two-years of Inactivity, so be sure to sign In every so often. Some accounts may last longer than that, but It's generally the case.
