Is there a way of knowing whether a seller will use tracked shipping or not before you purchase the item?

I would assume 99% of sellers would use it or else they don't have seller protection. I frown upon trying to SE anything that isn't from a big company too...

I don't believe this Is possible. Unless It's stated by the seller, tracking takes effect when the service has been selected.

As such, you as the buyer, can view the location of your package, as well as the type of carrier used during shipment.
