Any ideas for an excuse I could use? I was late shipping out several items. Perhaps I was in the hospital? They gave me 3 months to bring my seller standard up

You can. I've called and they've pulled up my old account by accident but they just ask me to verify my email and that's it. Idk if I've just been lucky but they were created at least a year apart though (same address, #, etc...)

I don't know about this. I tried to appeal for my old account multiple times and they would not budge. I didn't owe them anything, I just messed up when selling. A few items I was selling I couldn't ship them in time so they limited the account and took my selling away

I believe if we need to sell something, nobody should be involved in the middle of you and the buyer.
If it's for safeguarding purposes, not intrusively

You'll either need a new ebay and paypal account, but with fake info, or try to get them to un-suspend your account. What made you below standard? If it's something you can make a good excuse for or remediate the issue, I'd just give them a call and explain it to them. Doesn't have to be the truth, it just has to be believable.

Yeah bro you have the jackpot excuse lol. Honestly, I'd just call them and say you were young and dumb / didn't have a ride / sick / jail / waiting to get paid / vacation / lost in the mail / anything. If you sent all of your items out eventually then there shouldn't be an issue regardless of shipping time. The buyer may not have been happy with the shipping time, but if he obtained what he bought, then that's a sale. If you "stole" any payments, offer to refund them. Just play stupid and innocent and you'll get everything back.

I'd raise hell about suspending someone over late shipping too. I've shipped plenty of items off ebay later than I said and I never had issues. If your story is true, I'd be complaining to them for justifying a suspension. Plus, you can't raise your ratings if you can't buy/sell. Insist on a "second chance" and their policies are "unwarranted". You'll get your account back, but you'll probably have a flag on it so don't mess up again lol.

Say for instance, somebody used their mobile data, isn't that always a different IP every time it's switched off and on? I swear i read that somewhere. If not then i have no idea where i got that from. Also, even if you're using a VPN wouldn't you need a fresh device to order from due to the information that gets stored?

I believe if we need to sell something, nobody should be involved in the middle of you and the buyer.

PayPal and eBay have always been iffy imo but they are popular so I use them.

Assuming It's a Dynamic IP, then yes, a new one will be allocated upon reboot. That said, It's not always the case.

In terms of the VPN, It's best to use another device. Simply put, change "every detail" that was used on the old account.

As far as I know, a website cannot view your Mac address, however, they can likely contact your ISP/public wifi for your Mac address.

I have seen a freeware Mac changer
