Typical signs of phone tapping Include battery dying a lot quicker than usual (particularly when on standby), the device heating up when not In use and static/strange noises being heard whilst In conversation.

my shit heats up sometimes at random when I don't use it and there are other times when my battery is dead af for no reason.

Listening In on conversations as well as GPS tracking, drain the battery. To achieve this, the phone only has to be on standby.

I'm speaking from experience- I've tapped an IPhone (years ago) for a friend who suspected his partner was cheating. She complained about everything mentioned above.
