EXIF data edit tip 05-06-2021, 08:16 AM
#1
Often reps wants pictures of an item you want so SE. Logitech for example. There are several Photoshop Services that offer services like that. They often say you need to remove EXIF data from the edited photo. I found out if you instead add exif data like date, camera model and even gps data, the chances are to my experience its better to have exif data than no exif data to do a succesful SE. Just an advise..

In simple terms, you're saying that completely removing the EXIF data Indicates signs of tampering, yes? If so, you've made a good point.
That being said and for example, some websites (such as Facebook) and certain apps strip EXIF data when you upload an Image, so It's possible for photos to have parts of the EXIF data missing. If you only remove your Identifiable details and keep the rest Intact, It will not raise suspicion.

Any app suggestions to use to edit the exif data? Using Adobe bridge still leaves a string of identifier that shows up as edited by Adobe
