Completely barred from having personal accounts or accessing social networks, video sharing platforms, AI chatbots, and online gaming services

Ages 13 to 14:
Prohibited from holding independent accounts, but permitted restricted "mini accounts" set up and supervised by parents.
Mini Account Rules: Limited features, restricted contact with strangers, and a strict time limit capped at one hour per day.

Ages 15 to 18:
Allowed to open their own independent accounts, but platforms must enforce "safe by design" rules, age-appropriate algorithms, and risk reduction for compulsive use.

Penalties:
Tech companies face massive fines of up to 6% of their global annual turnover for non-compliance.

Some of their internet laws are really bad, but COPPA restrictions were always a thing. For example, if you register on the forum you must be 13+. As long as they aren't requiring ID, not really a bad thing.

I feel like if they started requiring id, it would be like most apps owned and operated in Mainland China. They require your id number and phone number.
