Does prime affect an SE? #1
Recently got a refund for something I ordered on Amazon, almost instantly the support guy who I was chatting with offered me a refund. I literally haven't even put my entire message in the chat. Don't know if I just got lucky or what.

Not every representative follows company protocol when assessing claims, particularly for very low value Items and/or when they're Inundated with orders and claims.

That could have been the case with your SE.

I'd like to believe that being a paying customer may also play a part in that as well though, no? If someone has been a long-standing source of income for your company, surely they'd offer a wider variety of solutions/offer up a refund faster than with a non-paying customer?

Yes, the standing of one's account (mature over a few years with quite a number of purchases), holds a lot more value than one that was recently created with minimal transactions, If any.

I've always believed that companies will prefer a subscribed/frequent user of their company over those who don't(which in hindsight makes sense). They will always get priority when it comes to anything really, as you know they'll continue using your service if you can keep them satisfied.

Small to mid-sized companies, yes.

It's less effective (but not Ineffective) to those who operate on a large scale to the likes of Amazon, and deal with 300+ million customers- globally.
