Does anyone have any experience about SEing Bose's official website? 06-15-2022, 02:54 PM

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to SE a product from Bose's official website. I was wondering if anyone had experience with them and what method did you end up using? I'm planning to do a Bose 700. Thanks!

The above and its context is a work of fiction, including names, characters, business, events and incidents are the products of imagination with no intent of doing such thing. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental.

Its packaging contains two paper pull tab seals on both sides of the box, hence perfectly suited to the sealed box method.
Obviously, the DNA can alternatively be used.
Great! Thank you for your help and insights.

I need to replace my current Bose, so I'll try the DNA method and let you know how it goes.

I'll let you guys know also how it goes. Hopefully, they just leave it at the door and don't ask me to pickup from the carrier pickup location. My preferred method is the DNA since I don't have much experience with the sealed method nor the tools to sealed it back. @
mothered , just saw what you were referring to when it come to the two pull tab from an unboxing video online.

As with the IPhone 13, the Bose 700 seals may be available to purchase online.
I haven't had time to research It.
No worries, but if you don't mind I have another question @
mothered .
The product already shipped and is on its way. The good thing is that the sender didn't select Do Not Safe Drop or signature required as I can see it from the tracking page if they require anything. It is delivered by Canada Post, but in some circumstances the delivery guy don't safe drop (aka leave it somewhere) and might bring it to the nearest post office. Since I want to DNA because I can't unfortunately find the sealed tab for the packaging I have two options that are offered to me:
1) On the tracking page, there's an option to indicate where to safe drop the item if no one is there at the time of the delivery (you can see the screenshot here of what it look like
https://imgur.com/a/w4rjbFB). But once it is specified, it will show up on the tracking records that I choose to have it safe drop. I'm worried that if they do a carrier investigation, it might not work because I guess that is considered to be free of liability if the package is DNA. Therefore, my claim with Bose would be declined. I researched and read the terms of sale of Bose's official website and they just mentioned to contact them either by phone or email to declare the delivery as DNA. As a last resort, I can always chargeback but I prefer to not do it as it's a lengthy process with my bank and there's still the proof that I choose to have it safe drop on the tracking if the merchant ever dispute it.
2) I don't do nothing and assume that the delivery guy would simply leave it as safe drop which would help my case for DNA.
My question: Based on the context above, if I choose to specify to safe drop can I still claim it and if it go to the P.O box I guess I won't be able to DNA it?
Thanks!
