One guy ended up getting a refund and then they contacted him after telling him he sent the wrong item. 1 other guy succeeded and I told him to report back because they may very well reach back out. If it's an expensive item, I imagine they're definitely checking because they're aware of what's going on. Amazon seems to have expanded their fraud/account specialist team in the last year. They've also taken a lot of measures through carriers to avoid being boxed (in Canada at least), particularly to fight the rampant FTID/LIT.
I'm curious, what was the value?
The value wasn't that high, around 300 euro. I guess we have to find different/better ways to get the job done. One more thing that makes me wonder... the item was an SSD and the only way to find out the item was different was if they connect it to a computer, because it looked exactly the same as the original item...
