I do not share the full extent of what I do currently.
I used to share information about reselling items back when I was very broke, young and dumb, which was part of my humbling background and story, but I realized it was oversharing and made some people uncomfortable.
Talking about SEing in one's past can have negative social consequences. Firstly, it can damage one's reputation and lead to mistrust, as it suggests that the individual may have a tendency to engage in dishonest behavior. Secondly, it can have legal implications if the SE was serious enough to result in criminal charges. Finally, it can also cause discomfort or distress to those who may have been victims of theft in the past. Since it's general corporations, this isn't too much of an issue but there are still people who bootlick conglomerates. Therefore, it is generally advisable to avoid discussing SE in one's past unless it is absolutely necessary or relevant to a specific situation.
