I used to have a friend who always tried to set me up on dates. (Thank God I am in a committed relationship now.) She used to drive me crazy with this because I don't really think she understood me or what I liked in men. At first I went along, but after a while, I put the brakes on everything.

Do you have people who try to set you up on blind dates? If so, do you go on them?

I never remember actual blind dates, but I do remember having friends who would try to bring along guy friends and then try to push us onto each other all night. It never really worked out for me. It could have been awkward, but I would usually laugh it off. I think blind dates COULD work out, but I definitely don't think they're always a good idea.

I would never go on a blind date because now I am extremely cautious because I've been hurt by too many people. You never know what they will do to you if they are a bad person. Some people have very bad intentions and you have to be careful. I would say, for the most part, it is safer for guys to go on blind dates than for girls. But still, you never know.
